Do you like champagne cocktails and jazz? Because I do! And so does the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, apparently. Get this, 365 days a year Amuse Restaurant at the VMFA has happy hour from 2:30-4:30 with great specials including champagne cocktails for just $6 a piece. It's insane! I know that is a bit early for some, but how fun would it be to take a half day on a Thursday to get dressed up and have a few bubblies and appetizers at Amuse, then head down to the Best Cafe to watch live jazz music from 6-9, for free?! You will be home and sound asleep early enough to be fresh for work on Friday. OR if Thursday is a no-go, not to worry! Friday Wine and Art at the VMFA means happy hour specials from 5-8:30 in Best Cafe along with FREE art tours at 7 and 7:30. What a great excuse to dress up, eat, drink and enjoy the arts!
