Red Dress + Lace Ups

Like most people, I have been trying to satisfy my shopping urges with the least amount of damage to my wallet as possible, and in doing so, I have become a pretty savvy thrift shopper. I love the hunt, digging through racks and racks of clothes with a hawk's eye in search of something truly special. Although this leads to some pretty unique finds, sometimes I just want a simple, painless experience without the high price tag...which leads me to thredUP. Have you heard of it? They are essentially an online thrift & consignment shop where you can buy and sell gently used clothing from hundreds of designers. The deals are unbelievable; this dress was just $11.99! Also, if you refer your friends you can both get $10 of shopping credit. That's basically a free dress!

A huge thank you to thredUP for partnering on this post!

P.S. While shooting this at Bryan Park, an older man rode over and stopped to ask if we'd like to use his 1968 vintage German bike as a prop in the shoot. Of could we took the opportunity!
